~Yooo guys!

Not long ago, there was this trend on Tumblr and dA where people redrew screencaps of movies/series/anime that they liked. I decided to try it out and this is what came of it. Since it's Makoto's birthday (okay, according to my timezone, his birthday ended 1 hour ago), I thought it was appropriate to choose a screencap of him (- aaand I realized I haven't drawn one single picture of Makoto going solo... What's up with that?!)
- Come on, who doesn't love a gentle giant cuddling a kitty cat?

I ONLY redrew him. The background is still the original. Seems sometimes people decide to keep the original background while others redraw it as well. I didn't, only added some texture and color so it would fit with the rest of the picture.

Also, lookie, lookie, I did semi-realism again Ah, this truly is my favorite style of drawing. It's a mystery to me why I don't do it more often?'

Edit: Added a third picture where I removed the background and replaced it with something darker. The original background killed a lot of the details that are already hard to spot due to the pictures small size :/
