The young devil jumped back as soon as the other devil's head poked out of the bushes: "There you are." He said with a smirk: "Looks like you've got into a fight again, uh? Let me see that.." JD took a quick step back, the last thing he wanted was to be close to that weird horse-like creature. Sure, he got into a beating against that bandit but he managed to get the upper hand and win at the end, he decided to show to the other creature he wasn't to be fooled around, he growled and put on a fighting stance, the other devil just laughed: "Still you haven't got your lesson? Fine, here comes the hard way!" With surprising reflexes, the other devil attacked without leaving any second to the other one and after a brief struggle, JD was pinned by the frailer-looking but much stronger devil. JD started to flay his legs and scream hoping to actract unwanted attention, generally humans always forced the other devil to rethreat, but this time the other devil pressed forcefully the younger one's tiny wings against his chest: "Stay still, humans never come this far in the Pine Barrens! And besides our screams make them run away." Finally, JD returned to his quiet state but visibly cringed as the older devil started to run his tongue on a rather nasty cut on his head: "You can't even fly yet and you try to fight enemies twice your size... youngsters!" JD just growled as the other devil cleaned the wound: -Stop trying to acti nice!- He tought: -Next time you won't be that lucky!-

Yay for more brainfarts! This heat is helping a lot into making them! XD And besides I think out there there's someone who can make even worst ones than mine!

This came in my mind after thinking that in the videogame there might be actually two Jersey Devils, one is the one born centuries ago, the other is born maybe twenty-thirty years ago... The older one might actually be his father after he mated with a human woman (Maybe: devil/human + human = more humanoid hybrid) accidentally repeating his own history and this brings in the question about how JD managed to survive since he was a baby after being abandoned and balsted off by Knarf's lab explosion, what if the other Jersey Devil somehow made sure he had food? Maybe he was more like a "shadow-parent" than an actual one... explaining why JD is always lonely. But these are just theories If you have noticed, he isn't actually stepping on JD's tail, he got his weight on his other leg.

Ahem... it feels so good to have my desk back! XD
