Ah! Gir!!! You did a fabulous job depicting him!! You captured his character perfectly! Deffinately my favorite character of the Invader Zim series. "What did you learn Gir!?" "I saw a squirrel, he went like this! *squirrel face*" Hahaha! One of my top favorite shows ever! Honestly, I just got done watching an episode 10 minutes ago, THANK YOOOOU NETFLIX!!!

HAHAHAHA!!! Yep, that is a good one! Lol! Ahh, how I love that series... such a shame that they took it off of the air.... I understand, yes it was dark and morbid, but if you don't want your kids watching it, then block it. Don't ruin it for the rest of the fan base.

Yeah, actually the reason it got cancelled was because of the low ratings among the target audience at the time and the production was too expensive. Since then the fan base have exploded and the series popularity has risen to cult status. While it's a popular series today, it's still too expensive to produce according to Nickelodeon... if their opinion were to be changed there's a chance they'd give it another chance.

Oh, I thought it was because the series was thought to be too graphic. That suprises me that the ratings were that low... that show is fantastic.

In 2010 they gave the series another run and it was clear that the series had since it's first run established a much larger fan base. Despite that, as I mentioned earlier the series is still considered too expensive to produce. There is a chance the series may be completed one day if Jhonen Vasquez got green light from Nickelodeon. He already said he'd be ready if so.

I wonder why it was so expensive to run it... I really do hope that Jhonen Vasquez does one day complete the series. I don't even care if it airs on TV, I just want to be able to buy it in a boxset or something.

Not too sure that it's so expensive compared to anything else, just the series didn't go so well at the time so they cancelled it. You're not the only one hoping for that.

Gir is one of the main characters found in the cult cartoon series by the name of Invader Zim. You should quickly be able to find any information you'd want about the series or the character with a simple google.com search. The series is mainly aimed for a young audience, but have a dark atmosphere with some dark insane humor. It was a bit out of the ordinary and a bit controversial and because of that the series was discontinued to much regret of the big fan base.
