Description
[Update 25 July 2007 Source code provided]Here's a collection of Apophysis plugin DLLs supplying several variations from different "unofficial" Apo versions, as well as a few variations from concepts I was playing around with. They were all built using the Apo DLL framework from [link]
---------------
The included variations are as follows:
- My variations:
- Mandelbrot (also posted at [link] )
- Waffle
- Lissajous
- Spirograph
- Variations from *Gygrazok 's Z+ Apo branch (also see [link] )
- Split
- Square Blur
- Secant
- Cross
- NGon (by `JoelFaber )
- Variation from ~cyberxaos ' Z+C++ Apo branch
- Flower
See README.TXT for more details.
The original authors may opt to submit their own DLL variations, in which case I'll remove them from this submission. Sources for the variations are provided here as well. Be sure to stop by and check out *Gygrazok 's and ~cyberxaos ' great Apo versions and deviations!
Thanks, and have fun!

Instructions:
Put the DLL(s) into the Apophysis Plugins folder. You may need to create a Plugins folder under the Apophysis installation directory. For example, if the Apophysis206.exe program is located in c:\Program Files\Apophysis, then you will need to create C:\Program Files\Apophysis\Plugins directory and put the DLL files in the Plugins folder you created.
Apophysis will find the plugin the next time it starts, and the plugin variations will show up in the list of available variations (plugins appear near the bottom of the list).
IMPORTANT NOTE: these plugins should replace ALL of the plugins I had created earlier, as they contain a small but very important fix for a memory manager issue which had been causing invalid access errors etc. for a number of people trying out the plugin interface.
Remove any old plugins which were compiled from Delphi without the IsMultiThread system variable initialized properly (based on the Delphi Apo DLL Plugin source code prior to version 0.4) to avoid memory manager problems. Otherwise, the plugins may result in invalid memory access errors -- even if you do not enable those transforms in the editor!
As a general rule, use only the plugins for variations which your version of Apo does not already have. For instance, don't put CrossVariationPlugin.dll into your Plugins folder if you're using *Gygrazok 's Z+ Apo version, which already has the cross variation built-in.

I have a question as it's been awhile since I used Apophysis.I just re-downloaded Apophysis 2.09 & was wondering how we used plugins with it? I can't remember & wanted to ask. Does it detect them when the program opens? Do you direct it to the plugin folder? My Apophysis doesn't create a program folder.I click on the .exe & it opens as is.I'm thinking that's different than my older version was. I'm just curious & figured I'd ask around. thanks

Im probably having some kind of stupid mistake, but I can't get these to work. I am currently running the Apophysis 2.08"3D Hack", and I have the plugins installed as:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Apophysis 2.0\Plugins
This is where the original Apophysis was installed to, which was 2.02. Am I doing something wrong, or is it that these don't work with 2.08, or is it something else?

I'm having trouble exporting flames correctly now
It says something like "unrecognized variation edisk. Ignoring",and the picture turns out completely wrong.
This is using the Export Flame one (Ctrl+X)
When I render the flame to disk, I get the correct image, but the .flame file is incorrect
Help!

Question! I'm new at this and was wondering how I get to where I can use the plugins after downloading them? I've already created the Plugins folder and have saved all my plugins to that folder in my Apophysis directory.

Alright. I'll begin using these, too. I think I have 3 sets of plug-ins now, I'm sure i'll be throwing some old ones away.

I'd love to get this plugin pack, it looks great, but it won't work I extract it to Apophysis plugins, but it doesn't show up when I open Apophysis. Neither have any of my other plugins I've downloaded. Do you know what could be wrong with it, and how to fix it?

Sorry, but I can't get it to work.
The Apophysis application is in User>Art>Apophysis;
All the .dll plugins e.g. WaffleVariationPlugin are in User>Art>Apophysis>lugins.
Yet Apophysis won't recognise it. When I try and open the variation in Apophysis 2.06c there is some access problem or another; in Apophysis 2.02 (those are the two versions I have...) it only opens when I choose Import Gimp Parameters and won't open properly, it shows a square of tiny dots.
I decompressed the .dll files from the Winrar, does that interfere?

I'm probably being really stupid...but I've put the plugin folder in the Apo folder, but it's still not recognising the plugins. Help!

Make sure you name the new folder Plugins and put it in the same directory as your Apophysis206.exe program file. The plugin *.dll files should go inside the Plugins folder.
If you created shortcuts for starting Apophysis, then right-click the shortcut and make sure the "Start in:" folder (look under the Shortcut tab) points at the directory in which you created the Plugins folder. If not, that may be why Apo doesn't see them.
Hope this helps!

The newest versions of Apo have no such folders, when you hit download you only get the exe file... so for example I have all 3 of my apophysis versions in my external HD.... would I make a folder called "Apophysis" on the hard drive and make a subfolder called Plugins....?
