Description

In 1929, the Blackrose lineage had risen from independent inventors to a small industry, with family members being mostly in charge of the creative and finance departments. Initially dedicated to custom build firearms and vehicle modification, as the company grew, soon it evolved into the manufacturing of commissioned combustion engines for cars and planes, as well as a modest division dedicated for firearms design and production.

Lewis' grandson, Jorge Blackrose, finished the almost 100 years conceptual shotgun "Sabrina" in 1958, and while he kept it in the family's private collection, it wasn't until 1968, incentivized by his best friend and investor, Maxmillian Ahlströn, that he would contemplate the idea of developing a full scale production firearm based on it. Over the next 4 years, development went slow as the firearm wasn't a priority, while Maxmillian's presence on the company increased over time, so much as he was offered a position as manager of the vehicles division, which he gladly accepted and executed with mastery, cars being his lifelong passion.

In 1972, Maxmillian was optimistic and bet on the military contract for Sabrina to cost the final steps of development, but when no interest was shown he feared that it would be a huge blow on the company and threated to pull out his funding unless the production was immediately halted. That didn't pleased Jorge, whom was determinate to continue the marketing and production of his ancestors beloved creation.

After a series of conflicts between both parties, Maxmillian left the company with the funds he still had and used his learnings as both developer and manager to found Cloverfiled Technologies in 1974, the time Sabrina was made commercially available. The firearm was indeed a colossal failure in terms of military contracts, with few shipments to oversea countries and most of its stock being sold on civilian market, law enforcement and private security groups, making it even with the production and development cost.

Barely a huge hit to Blackrose Armoury, as the company would soon reemerge, but that marked the beginning of the long lived rivalry between Blackrose and Cloverfield, with their products often competing in races and shooting ranges.

The new Sabrina offered little in distinction to its older sister: it still was a lever-breech, gas-operated and fully automatic shotgun, although the mechanism was refined and strengthen, being more reliable and easy to maintain. The magazines would now have a selective capability, being able to load different types of ammunition in each one and changing from one to another at the user's will (most private security groups would pack the front magazine with plastic or "taser" rounds, loading the back one with live rounds, while some instances of the firearm that made to military units would fill the front row with 12 gauge grenades while changing the other magazine over a drum type). Many fans of the shotgun would praise its selectable side ejection for its ambidextrous characteristic and its breeching bolt for allowing exotic rounds and even slide-in caliber adapters to be used.

THE BRAND AND MODEL WAS INSPIRED BY 's IDEA (thanks!)

Apparently the blackrose family suddenly became Asian judging from the decals.

Hummm... what attracts you the most in the PM9? It is the rotary firing mechanism or the foldability? Because helical magazines are very bulky, while the horizontal magazine would make it too long to be hidden, not that I can't make it work somehow, just curious. Also, you want the M12 overall looks to go with it or is that any specific detail of that firearm you prefere?

I'm trying to come up with anything that doesn't looks like a copy of the PP-19 Bizon, so I wait your feedback.

I think the ejection port should be longer along with the bolt carrier, it doesn't look like it will properly eject 100% of the time (at most a 60%)

I beg to differ: the shell in the pic is proportional to the size of the firearm, something I do in every gun I draw. Another thing I also do is put in trasnparency other real life firearms above my drawings, so I get the proportions right, using the Mossberg 500 and Browning A5 in this case. I apreciate the concern though and I would like to know what made you get that impression.

Thanks for commenting.

Just the shape and size gave me that impression, but I get you

Its the same with the COP .357: you can't grasp how much bulk it has just by the shape of it.

Next you should make a ruby pistol made entirely out of (red) rubies.

Sometimes I don't know when people are being sarcastic or just rude, but I will assume this was a joke out of its context.
