Description Agula, Colossal Heartwomb of the Deathly Plane.

Above the fields of battle she floats; whenever the hordes of the Death Plane appear on Telara she will not be far behind. A bringer of unlife to the dead and dying, She unfurls her form as the battle is joined and absorbs all - whether they were living or dead matters little to her as they are unborn into the service of Regulos.

All who stand to oppose her must fight their way though her bloodborne legion, an army that may well include those they once fought alongside. Should they defeat the never-ending army and avoid becoming one of her children themselves, dare they risk venturing into her innards, where she is weakest?

A somewhat more passive Colossus than most entries I've seen, which are almost all raging beasties intent on smashing things to itty bitty bits - not that I have a problem with that, it's certainly what I think of when I see the word 'colossus.'
I think I just liked the idea of a colossus that brings death and destruction while serenely floating in the sky.

In case the italicised prose wasn't plain enough, here's the long and short of it:
Agula is a Colossal Heartwomb - she is able to reanimate the dead by passing them through her body by way of her blood.
When she passes over a battlefield - whether it's an ongoing battle or just a field of the deceased, she unfurls and starts pumping out blood. Then, she lowers her oesophagus and starts to 'drink' the blood back into her body; bringing any and all the dead bodies into her own body with it.
She is a creature of Death and as such dead herself so the blood is mostly coagulated. What passes through her outer Aortas is a slow ooze of coagulating blood, rotting flesh and her reanimating bloodborne children.
When She has either destroyed the enemy or 'given birth' to a sufficient amount of new children, she will reabsorb them and move on, effectively acting as a large troop transporter.
I imagine her blood pool would also be a drowning hazard to the living, not to mention be rife with disease and poisons.

Imagine the sound effects accompanying all that oozing and sucking stuff back in.

Like a kid eating a gingernut bickie, just not quite as gross.

Lots of crunching? I was thinking more like the vigorous stirring of something goopy. Kraft's macaroni and cheese comes to mind. Uuuggghh *shudder*

Oh, god no. gingernuts used to be harder than they are now, so little kids who couldn't bite into them would sit there and kind of chew on it. It'd wind up turning into this horrible mess, with half digested biscuit everywhere - I think it used to take my cousins about half an hour or more to eat one biscuit.

... so there'd be bits softened by drool. And the drool itself.

Yeah, Agula might be less gross than that XD
