Description
“Alright, day two is here. With that brings us Belphegor, The Icon of Sloth.”“This big guy is an Ancient Blob by the looks of it, although most Blobs can have a wide arrangement of attributes, Belphegor has a unique pattern along its skin and horns, making him one of a kind.”
“It should be no surprise that Ol Bel here is large, ridiculously so, his blubber protects him from sheer cold and blunt attacks of various intensity. He’s often nicknamed, “The Immovable Object” because of this. Funnily enough, those wings of his actually work, Belphegor can get some notable altitude as well. Moreover, his size grants him slow but devastating blows, from either his club-like fists or various log sized tentacles. Luckily his sin, Sloth, makes him the absolute easiest to contain.”
“As the Icon and embodiment of Sloth, Belphegor is unsurprisingly lazy and weak willed. However, what is truly disturbing is his apathy. Belphegor is cruel due to his ability to recognize his surroundings and people, but makes the conscious choice to ignore them. Whether something harms him or not, he treats it all the same, with empty gaze and silent refusal to attempt any retaliation. Moreover, it's said that this silence is deafening to a literal sense, where it can legitimately deafen those he chooses. Weird ain’t it?”
“In ancient times, Belphegor was a cruel and lazy king, providing nothing throughout his rule and simply watching as both his kingdom and people fell into ruin. Pretty dark wouldn’t you say?”
“Like Mammon, Belphegor is not worshipped, but rather contained. Quite easily too, currently the fat fuck in resting in a 300 foot hole somewhere. Unlike Mammon, this guy has nothing of use to us, so we just like... leave him there.”
“In short, Belphegor is more of an object than a living thing, much less a demon.”
