“Frigid folk like the Frostkin are a sight to see, as the species only lives in truly cold environments. Like Stromkin, their bodies are purely made of a magic type, in this case, they are living Aquanna Magic. Just like Stormkin as well, Frostkin are often mistaken for their Elemental, which such a statement offending them. Frostkin come in a variety of physical appearances, shapes, and sizes; all of these formed from ice and snow. Overall, Frostkin are more resilient than Stormkin, instead of their physical form dissipating immediately, Frostkin slowly degrade. Where it is up to the individual to be attentive to upkeep. Thus, Frostkin live their lives in the cold, to slow down physical degradation.”

“The most common type of Frostkin around, the Snow Frostkin make their home in the tundras, taigas, and icy deserts of Estea. This variant has an average lifespan of 70 years, reaching adulthood at age 18. Additionally, Snow Frostkin are the most varied when it comes to size and shape, some ranging from 1 foot or 0.30 meters to 3.05 meters or 10 feet in height. Physically the name says it all, this Frostkin is entirely made up of snow. Although the snow’s consistency can vary from time to time, the variant is fairly good at physical defense, capable of soaking up damage well. The same cannot be said for their offense, Snow Frostkin are fairly poor at physical combat and rely heavily on ranged tactics. In spite of this, they have the easiest time replenishing their bodies, even building up for forms temporarily. Socially these folk are jolly, living in large social groups. Moreover, Snow Frostkin are the kindest towards other races, having a grand time with the Humans, Elves, and Beastfolk.”

“Ice Frostkin are the second variant of the Frostkin, unlike Snow Frostkin, this variant makes its home in more extreme cold, even in cave systems. Ice Frostkin have an average lifespan of 68 years, maturing at age 18. Like other Frostkin, their size can vary, however Ice Frostkin have size extreme variations. Typically from 4 feet or 1.22 meters to 7 feet or 2.13 meters. Physically made up of ice, these Frostkin are much more brittle. They are capable of dealing more damage than Snow Frostkin, but are generally weaker than Snow Frostkin defensive wise. More so, Ice Frostkin have the hardest time replenishing their bodies. Either requiring cold water to freeze over their damages or attaching other icicles onto them. Due to this, Ice Frostkin prefer to remain in freezing temperatures and use ambush tactics with a combination of physical and magic attacks. Socially, Ice Frostkin are more solitary, living in small groups. Generally, they are perceived as more pessimistic and sad. Moreover, these Frostkin are the most apprehensive towards others, as they view others as potential threats.”

“Slush; [Sluhsh]”
“The final variant of the Frostkin, not particularly the rarest of the three, but certainly the strongest. Slush Frostkin have an average lifespan of 90 years, maturing at 18. Their average height is equally variable as Snow Frostkin, ranging from 2 feet or 0.61 meters to 12 feet or 3.66 meters. Slush Frostkin are made up of both ice and snow, combining into a form that can change from near liquid to packed ice. Physically, Slush Frostkin are both stronger and tougher than the previous variants, they even are more resistant to warm temperatures. Additionally, these Frostkin are well skilled in Aquanna Magic, capable of passively producing chilled air around them. When damaged or degraded, Slush Frostkin have multiple options of rebuilding its mass, able to choose methods available to Snow and Ice Frostkin alongside some other methods as well. Socially this variant is fairly free spirited, as it isn’t limited as heavily as their peers. Sometimes Slush Frostkin are even found in other civilizations.”

“Frostkin share many qualities of life with Stormkin, the unstable nature of their form is something they can bond with. If a Frostkin’s form completely melts, they have little time to freeze up to some semblance of a body. If they cannot save themselves by then, their life will be dispersed across Estea in a similar fashion to Stormkin. However it is very uncommon for a Frostkin to reform at this point, effectively killing them. Due to this point, it is very justifiable to leave Frostkin to their icy environments.”
