Full view recommended. I feel this one came together at the end, the the underlayers form a skeletel structure that is more texture than picture. I like the range of colors in this piece, it reminds me of nature and the seasons.Related content

This is just fascinating. It's rare that to see an artist, out of the blue, who's doing something I just haven't seen before.
That might just be due to my relative inexperience, but you've got something really unusual going on here.
My favorite pieces of yours are the ones where depth is created purely through color. It's almost like looking into a box or a hole.

It's acrylic inks on smooth board, and yes I may have to undertake that project. It would be nice to document one.

Ohhhh yum.
My mind is totaly helpless and I cant help but be glued to the screen over the pale glowing blues on the top right...
that looks like the arm of some sadistic and almost lecherous deity playing with the world below him.
I see he holds his hand to the side of his tilted head while his dark purple hair in the shadows cascades down his shoulder, while to the left on a sacred pedistal he peers over a massive book pulsing with unholy energies... thus the blinding green light that burns white like a tear in the fabric of time.
From his book strikes several aqua colored tendrils that hit the land below to its core, causing the earth itself to crack and bleed with magma while the forest surrounding it catches fire uncontrollably.

You know.... I think If I knew you irl... we'd get along great on some weird subconcious level that most people woulnt ever think of.
I met a girl in one of my sculpting classes a while ago.
We had absolutely NOTHING in common... but we both had a calm and friendly view about life and a passion for art.
Im a nerd from the US that lives with my parents whose hooked on movies video games.
She moved all over the place and spent most of her life in places like india and morocco and spoke 3 languages.
She invited me to visit her in another class and check out some of her paintings. I was interested and stopped in.
She had a HUGE canvas the size of a refridgerator's front, and it ROCKED.
So before I rant too much more, I'll just say that in an hour, I had described everything I saw and felt in that painting, in ways she herself hadn't realized.
HECK. She was even having a "painters block" on it before I suggested a dozen tiny things she should do.
It was so.... WEIRD, because my suggestions fit it all into place where she couldnt.
I'm probably sounding like an ego-maniac or somthing... but the experience almost felt "religous." Best way I can describe it.
I have a bad habit of using comment boxes and replies as a way to recall or resurect old thoughts and experiences.
OKAY.
So what I had REALLY meant to say, was that many of your paintings feel like tiny peices of soul that fit into the little cracks within my own.
You just manage to stike a chord with me in these kinds of paintings, and the music just sounds like an other-worldly choir.

The fact that my painting has struck a chord in you will definitely influence me and motivate me to press on.
