This is just lovely. I feel calm and peaceful looking at the blend of colors and brightness. The glow it has almost reminds me of a stained-glass window. I think the movement in the piece is wonderful as well, how the gently curving lines take the eye out from the center and then back in again to appreciate the piece one more time. I also love how it has a symmetry to the design and color while still being asymmetrical. The second bright spot in the bottom left really does an excellent job of keeping the viewer's focus from sliding out of the piece. Very well done.

I actually made 2 versions of this picture, the first one was set in the same composition but it was symmetrical. I thought that it was perhaps too symmetrical, so I added the curve on the left side...

You're welcome! I think the decision to add the curve worked out great! It adds a lot of interest. I was looking at it again, and thought of one comment I had to make a more balanced critique. I think it might benefit from going a bit darker in the center of the large flower. It goes from very bright around it to steadily darker, and the flow is quite seamless, but I think highlighting that contrast a little more would give that focal point a bit more punch. But it's still beautiful the way it is.

I love fractals!! This is so pretty. The colors work together nicely and complement each other well.

I've always wanted to get into designing fractals. Would you say that Apophysis is easy to get into? Do you have any tutorials that would be good to start with?

Please read this journal article of mine: [link] there are examples of tutorials that helped me to understand Apophysis more.
I'd say that no fractal software is easy to get into, especially Apophysis. It will take months before you'll get to understand it but the time spent is definitely worth it! Don't let the challenge discourage you.

Like the stained glass ceiling in an Elven palace or temple.
The colours are soothing and harmonious,and the organic looking leaf-like pattern is dazzling without being excessive or busy.
