Software used: ApophysisI feel like screaming, I want to fly but something's holding me.
EDIT February 15, 2012: On the concept.
Many people find the concept dull or not very original.
It "just" expresses my current state of mind. I have autoimmune thyroid disease which affects my daily life.
I say I wish to fly but actually I want a lot less. I just want to be healthy and strong again.
So the shapes basically describe the longing to be free and the illness that holds me. Colors are mix of resignation and fierce anger.

Dreaming of SpringWe've hit the point of frustration with winter, the point of needingΒ longer days with more sunlight, the smell of fresh flowers blooming... and being able to go outside without the temperature of the air being physically painful. I imagine myself taking a deep breathe outside and enjoying the aroma of the lilac tree just outside my kitchen window, instead of the sharp pain of the cold air bringing a stabbing pain to my sinuses.
These are the thoughts brewing in my mind when I opened Ultra Fractal at the start of this long holiday weekend. My latest deviations, and the following Featured Art reflect this dream of spring.
