Description
Software used: ApophysisSo, I managed to miss both my May and June monthly uploads, sorry
The artwork. I can't do pretty much anything else except splits/elliptic when I'm stressed out, sorry about that. Having fun with twoface now, I like the distinctly broken/fractured shape it produces. I've been trying out some 3D gnarls lately but I haven't figured out how to tweak them more extensively yet. Maybe in a few weeks I'll come up with something new.
Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches! It means a lot to me.

I really like you style. It's very recognizable among other's. I see you did on your own simple splits-elliptic fractal and tried added personal things to it.
Overally I find this piece very interesting, but has little bit too much closer to other split-ellipticals you already own. Coloring is very charming, it makes very wonderful shine effect, but in center it becomes little bit too bright and distracts little bit from other, especially fading elements. Also, In my honest opinion, the colours could have better composition. As I previously mentioned, the center becomes too bright, so it sure deserves more rich colors. I barely recognize the differencies of colors and more color-rich gradient would make different effect and "fabric" look.
After all, I find this piece very interesting and I'm looking forward to your new and much more awesome pieces.

Thanks a bunch, Lukas. I do need to tune down that gamma but was lazy to fix it after 3 hours of rendering Anyway, it's a lazy tweak, I admit. I've been under a lot of stress lately which manifests in "comfort pieces". Yeah, normal people eat comfort food, I make comfort fractals - nothing inventive or flashy, just fractalling for the sake of fractalling yet avoiding flow state. I hope that after my state exams there won't be too many of these, unless I jump straight into postgraduate studies after that.

From far away, it looks like a Christmas tree in the distance, sitting on a lake of ice!

I'd imagine a Lovecraftian chamber at the other side of the infinities having this sort of decor. It reminds of classic art nouveau as well as certain mathematical quandries, like the golden ratio spiral, while at the same time seeming more like the Devil's bridge aqueduct in Rome - a hollow construction more than a pattern on a wall.

Thank you! It's difficult not to stress out, sometimes i feel like Sisyphos. Finally it seems like I've finished everything, that I can have a moment of respite but then another chore appears. I hope it will be better after I finally finish studying, it's just so difficult to manage both studies and trying to make a decent living :/

I had to Google Sisyphos, to see who he was
Just remember, that the moments between chores, work, studies, etc...are the reasons why artist's exist, my friend.
We exist for the 'moment'
Keep following your dreams, Eli - they will show you the way

Well, he is just some guy from greek mythology who never gets to finish his work, to make the long story short I think that Albert Camus wrote some existentialist book about him as well.
I'll try to remember that, thank you for your kind words

I saw a pic of him on Google, pushing a boulder up a hill. Kind of remembered hearing about him, when I was a young child.
Just remember the 'moments', Eli
