Software used: ApophysisFor some reason this piece seems very dark to me, very "gothic". I've been thinking about my past. I spent my teens being Goth but black never suited me... Some part of me is still Goth but I no longer have connection with the gothic community in Prague. The question is, do I want it? Do I need it?
In most cases I know exactly what I want. In this one, not so much.

Je to nějaký těžký. Na posledním srazu s lidmi, co se hlásí ke goth nebo metal subkultuře mi moc dobře nebylo. Někdy mám pocit, že to je jedno jestli je někdo goth nebo punk, ale že se lidi spíš schovávají za nějaký "styl", aby mohli na všechno kašlat a vzdát veškerou snahu o aktivní řízení svého života, protože "úspěšný lidi jsou mainstream a toho se nechceme účastnit"... Znáš nějakou lepší partu?

Aj, tak to je docela smutná zkušenost. Já nemám vůbec žádnou partu, žiju mimo metropoli a na venkově aby gotickou duši člověk pohledal. Mám kolem sebe pár zarputilých metalistů, z jejich subkultury vlastně vycházím, ale vlivem mého odklonění ke gotice už s nimi na akce nejezdím. O gotické identitě jsem dříve dost přemýšlela a dospěla k názoru, že buďto si ji člověk v sobě nese odjakživa, nebo se za ni jen z nějakého důvodu chvilkově schovává (jak píšeš výš). Ke gotické subkultuře jsem se díky internetu prokousala až v postpubertálním věku a postupně mi došlo, že vlastně všechno to, co mě baví a fascinuje už od dětství, je dalo by se říct gotický.
Jinak mám dobrý vztahy s pár lidma kolem Sanctuary.cz, i když se vídáme jen párkrát do roka a komunikace probíhá hlavně online.
Dřív mi osamocenost dost vadila, ale postupem času jsem se s ní naučila celkem dobře vycházet.

I guess that the thumb looks rather bad :/ but at least the views/faves ratio is pretty good, since we are talking numbers

Oh right... I thought the group/fav ratio disturbed you. Then I guess you have missed my deviation Fly ([link] ) which has (for me very astonishing) 7,785 faves and 86,412 views... but as I say to everybody, it's just numbers and there are deviations in popular/all time with tens of thousands favourites and millions of views - making me just a tiny little dot in compare with them
The only number somewhat important to me are views. The more people see my work, the bigger chance is that someone visits my prints store and buys something or that they hire me to create a custom artwork/design for them. My humble income very much depends on these things...
