Description
Software used: ApophysisI really wanted to make a Valentine submission but I was too busy to stick to the plan
Receiver, the flower, is my mind. There is a ray of light from above, an inspiration channel.
I receive so much inspiration from various people across DA. I'd like to name a few people, people with inpiring galleries, characters and attitudes (in no particular order and I also might miss someone, sorry!):
If you can spare a few minutes, go ahead and meet these people. They are truly fabulous!
Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches!

That is an amazing piece. How long did it take you to complete it?
What program did you use for this? This piece reminds me of a game character from the squaresoft (yes it used to be squaresoft before becoming square-enix) Asellus and her world, from the video game Saga Frontier. I guess it has to do with the color and the blooming flower, but I know that it has a deeper link to it, I just can't find what it isβ¦
Truly beautiful!!!
What techniques did you use? Teach us Master!!!

Thank you It's actually stated in the fist line of the description, I am using software called Apophysis to create fractal artworks
Many people tell me that my images remind them of something from Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts etc... Perhaps I should contact Square-Enix and become a graphic designer for them or something

Very cool! I love how the colors and glow effects make it look like the image is practically radiating energy.

This is breathtaking. I wonder where I could find flowers like this.. maybe from the nightsky or deep in the oceanwaters.

She is very, VERY inspirational artist. I think that sending global message about political, ecological and other issues is the highest level that artist can achieve.

I couldn't hear her message over her art style.
It's not so much the message of art that gets me.
If it looks pretty,
(and your piece looks very pretty)
it's got my attention. Ni mΓ‘s, ni menos.

I like it I see a lot of fractals that look like flowers, and a lot that look like galaxies or black holes - but this one seems to mash the two together, and the warm pink/orange colours and plasma-like glow are what won me over

lucid-light In reply to Chromattix [2013-03-04 15:09:42 +0000 UTC]
Thank you Yeah there are lots of fractal flowers out there because of the tutorial. It's hard to make one that is quite original...
