Description
Made with ApophysisNot quite where I meant to go. Sometimes things just happen on their own and it's better not to question anything.

Hereβs my critique! I love this one! The pentagonal shape is unique and stunning. Truly, the color combination is lovely as well. Keep up the good work!

Quite frankly, I am a massive fan of your work. I love the way you present this "out of this world" imagery.
I want MORE!!

Thought of neurons when I saw this. Felt melancholy.

I like this one a lot! It looks quite different from your usual style, but the composition and especially the lighting give it a real sense of impact and depth.

I agree that there are certainly times when we are better off to avoid questioning where our intuition takes us, especially when it involves Art. This is even more true when we seek to explore the abstract. I examined some of your pieces and I find them easy to live with and poignant with regard to the impact they create. You clearly understand how to "involve" about the right amount of Color, and that is SO important.
Regarding "Their Place"; I am struck by the effect the "pentagonal" structure, which seems to be racing outward toward the viewer. The work causes me to ask questions: Are these Galaxies held together by "Dark matter"? Is this electro-chemical action as perceived in the "quantum" realm? Are they highly stylized "Neurons" in a Human Brain? Who are they that this is "Their Place"? Energy Beings perhaps?
The point being that any work that puzzles and intrigues is fine work.
Best regards,
R.K.

Looks like a really fancy spider web. Or a mashup between a spider web and a snowflake.
