I hope you don't take this the wrong, I mean I know you put a lot of hard work into it, but I kind of like this version more than the finished one. Just the way it looks with no shading and low contrast colors. You still did an amazing job regardless.

No, I actually agree, which is why I ended up uploading this afterwards. I like both versions for different reasons. This version feels more "comic panel-y" to me, if that makes any sense, and I really like that aesthetic. On the other hand, the finished version has more of a glowy/glossy look to it that I also kinda like. I guess I just feel the final one is more of the traditional "completed" look, so I chose that to present to people over this one. Truth is, I tend to prefer the basic versions of most of my drawings to their eventual completed look. I just can't help but feel like they're naked or something without the extra polish lol.
But I digress...thank you for the kind words.
