Commission for Escaron of her guardian of the forest stag, Sirion! God I just loved this design, his antlers are CRAY-CRAY. But was fun to draw. I went way above what I was paid to do for this... I just couldn't help myself, I had a brilliant idea, and I had to go for it. I hope you like. ^___^Elior breathes life into the plants, and Sirion protects them.

Wow, this is so gorgeous! It looks so fantastic and unique! The colors are amazing, and the background is so wonderful as well...And oh, the antlers and the fur! They are so perfect!

I am still in love with the way you do lighting; you manage to manipulate it in such a way that the whole composition has the same light source yet nothing looks "pulled to the front"... like you've got spacial differences, and it all still has a wonderful sense of unity. I also absolutely freaking LOVE the way you drew Sirion! he looks so collected, so serene... yet at the same time, the kind of creature you'd want to keep a distance from because they have that sense of unpredictability... like that god of life off of princess mononoke; beautiful, calm, yet unpredictable~ I also totally love the way you did the grass, and that plant springing up from the soil; with all the lovely swirly twinkly magic ahh! it's so precious! 
and those antlers...... MY GOD THE ANTLERS you were not kidding... and yet you did them just brilliantly WAI! *flailing* the way you shaded them, and the twisted horns, is just perfect. I am in awe... like I just want to reach out and touch them they look so real ;w; and you even made the shadows behind the ears... gosh, where does the awesomeness end?! D:
and then you have the shading of the creature itself; I honestly cannot get over how amazing it looks. I LOVE how you have the short but still noticeable fur; short fur is ridiculously hard for me (and I'd bet a lot of others too) it can be so tough to make it look soft and fuzzy, yet not come out to far, but you got the look down 100%... D: I must learn from you and then there's the long wispy hairs that are so gorgeous I want to pet them as well >:C all blowing gently in the wind - looking and perfectly perfect. and just... DANG. the eyes and nose and hooves and things, all the little things.... they're awesome as well ;o; then again, all of it is awesome.

I just. Wow I'm flattered so much by everything you said! And yes... the white stuff is supposed to be snow ;A; It um.. it will make more sense soon I promise xD When I finish the other half of this painting.... I wanted it to look like springtime when the grass is growing but there's still some remnants of snow on the ground ^^ But I can see now how you would kinda be like... the heck is that white stuff. xD
And who can go wrong with swirly sparkly plant magic!?!?!? (Omg that icon of the guy with the D: face.... I seriously LOL'd at that) I loved the idea that Sirion was the guardian of the forest and I definitely got a Mononoke vibe off of that. I had this idea and I just had to run with it, it was too good to pass up.
