Sans just wanted to keep Frisk from falling ;u;
Anyway, you guys probably have no idea what's happening on this page. I'll tell you a part of it, and the other part you'll find out as the comic continues :v

So as you can see, Sans tried to make Frisk's soul blue so as to keep them from falling. But Sans' magic is unstable ever since he almost died and Frisk put the bandaid on his soul.
It looks like Frisk's soul rejected his magic, which is true in a sense. Their soul rejected the effect of the magic and became imbued with the magic itself. Sort of the same thing that happened to Sans, being imbued with Frisk's soul. Now it's the other way around.
Of course, a human soul isn't a magic object thus a violent reaction has been started.
You'll find out what this means for Frisk eventually :^)
