Very old, weird and definitely magical
Okay... I've been so tired of all the realistic, safe pictures of animals and I've just had to paint something non-realistic and funny
And this was fun, that's for sure - I finally tried a new paper, Arches hot-press - it doesn't have such a smooth feeling I like on my illustration boards, but it much better allows wet in wet technique.Original is for sale... if you're interested, just send me a note or an email and I'll be happy to reply

An excellent watercolour.
It reminds me of the great tree of Gondor, from LOTR. Really good use of opposites, and curved lines.

Thank you... I definitely plan more "surreal" pieces, but I haven't manage to paint them yet.
But I love the realistic pictures too, I was just very tired of them at that time
