When noting important decisions, Mickey and pregnant Minnie discuss whether they should breastfeed or bottle-feed their child. Mickey informs Minnie that it is her decision and also notes that he was born in an era where breastfeeding was frowned upon, which has some basis in fact.
From the early 20th century up to the 1960's, breastfeeding was considered crude and unhealthy when baby formula became widely available, though it seems even back then not everyone agreed, because I have recently come across a pro-breastfeeding film that was made in 1925. I am not making that up, I swear! They even made a nursing joke in the Fleischer cartoon In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree, which was made in 1930.
And Minnie chooses to use a bottle in public because Mickey's son Mickey Mouse III is a teenager in present day and logically would be born in a time where we still forbade mothers to nurse in public.
So after we see Mickey being congratulated by his friends Goofy, Donald Duck, and Horace Horsecollar, we see Minnie accept a gift from Daisy Duck at her baby shower (if I had enough room, I would have drawn in Clarabelle Cow as well).
Finally, Mickey narrates when his son was finally born, mentioning that the closer they were to the birth, the more worried he became.
The "waiter" provides the food they ordered (eggs benedict for Mickey, scrambled eggs for Minnie, five breakfast specials for Chip, Dale, Foxglove, Zipper, and Gadget, a cheese omelet for Monty, and waffles for Darkwing and Morgana).
Drake Mallard then brings up that he's sure that the birth of Mickey's son was only the beginning of his parental worries. Mickey begins to verify that he is indeed correct with that assumption.
