As this crossover comic I made to commemorate the end of the old year 2022 and the coming of the new year 2023 continues, Green Lantern Hal Jordan does his best to bring the Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald incarnation of Birdie the Early Bird and Scary Godmother up to speed on how their Star Sapphire and Blue Lantern rings work, since Carol Ferris and Saint Walker aren't available to tutor them.

Fortunately, Birdie and Scary Godmother are fast learners. The moment they're reminded that violet rings run on love and blue rings run on hope, Birdie creates violet constructs of all her loved ones (Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Sundae, Hamburglar, Tika and Franklin) and Scary Godmother creates a blue construct of a baby wrapped in a blanket, as its the main thing she hopes to come in her marriage to Wacky Adventures Ronald now that her friends and Ronald's have more or less gotten along.

Hal proceeds to use his ring to contact the other human recruits of the Green Lantern Corps known as Guy Gardner, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz and Sojourner "Jo" Mullein to assist in turning in Hamburglar under the influence of an Orange Lantern ring, in addition to asking Batman and the New Gods for help to go back to where Venus de Milo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and her friends are fighting the Metal Reaper and the villains of the Wacky Adventures videos in spite of most of them being turned into Black Lanterns.

The explanation I came up with for Hamburglar becoming an Orange Lantern in spite of Larfleeze ordinarily refusing to allow anyone else to be an Orange Lantern besides making constructs of people he's killed is that this was another one of Mr. Mxyzptlk's pranks and that our heroes tricked him into sending himself back to the fifth dimension off-screen. Hamburglar is still influenced by the orange light in spite of this, but Kyle Rayner, who donned the white ring again once he learned Black Lanterns were involved, assures Birdie that she probably just needs to use her newfound Star Sapphire powers to remind Hamburglar that he cares about more than just stuffing his face with burgers.

Accompanying Kyle are other members of the third iteration of the White Lantern Corps (a blond Daxamite named Telos Usr who isn't to be confused with the antagonist of DC's Convergence event, a spider-like alien named Romgan Shey and a black, angular being called Tallahe). For those of you not as caught up on the Green Lantern mythos, the first White Lantern Corps was formed near the end of the Blackest Night event and consisted of DC Comics heroes who had come back from the dead and had briefly become Black Lanterns because of their nature as resurrectees (such as Superman, Wonder Woman and even the Kon-El Superboy and the Bart Allen Kid Flash), the second was 12 people revived by the white light at the end of the Blackest Night arc who went on to serve prominent roles in the following Brightest Day storyline (J'onn J'onzz, Professor Zoom, Maxwell Lord, Osiris, Hank Hall/Hawk I, Captain Boomerang, Deadman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Jade and Ronnie Raymond) and the third version were several random beings recruited by Kyle to defeat Oblivion at the conclusion of the Green Lantern: New Guardians series that was part of the New 52.

Kyle Rayner proceeds to use the white light to free Venus of her black ring and restore her from her undead state. She is very grateful that Kyle helped her out and that Birdie and Scary Godmother succeeded in getting the help that was needed. The Metal Reaper and the other villains are toast for sure.
