Allow the introduction of a cat tree with built in scratching post to be the savior? o-o'
I understand this quite well... I had a little fluffy kitty that did this sort of thing... but she became an indoor/outdoor kitty that was scooped up by the pound. q.q

They have one but they ignore it. They don't even sleep in their cat house...they prefer boxes, bags or sneak in drawers. Β Mine are 100% indoor cats so they always come up with ways to spend their energy. Nothing is safe XD.

They must certainly be a handful at times!
It must be adorable/entertaining to watch them play in boxes and bags. Probably frustrating with cabinets/drawers though. xD
As they get older, they will slowly mellow out a bit though, I'm quite certain.

Well it was actually 2 hours until the first scratches appeared...and that's maybe because they were chilling on the balcony (they have shelves and fun stuff to crawl on and watch the birds through the glass ceiling) in the first 2 hours when the couch arrived XD.
