Do I detect some celtic style influences there? How the feathers overlap like in knotwork birds. In any case the balance between showing the bird and blending it with the backgound is excellent. the colour range in the skirt also works out very well. Only small critism is her face, you can do much batter than that. Nonetheless andother seemingly effortlessly painted beautiful piece
