This might be my absolute favorite work of fan art. I love the style and texture, the pose, the strength... utterly brilliant

I've always loved this particular picture, and never felt the arms were too 'masculine'.Β I've always considered that the error was in the game using the same model for human females and asari.Β Their a mono-gendered race, why would they all be built exactly like human women?Β It's more interesting when they aren't...and are allowed to actually be a bit alien.

Β Shame about those technical limitations. Sometimes I wish these games were as mod-able as the TES series. Oh well.

Because of the dominantly masculine features, I almost thought this was a male Liara - Liaro...or something.

Nice! Β I like it! Β As for the complaints of the arms Β being manly, I like the musculature. Β If anything, I might have accentuated the hips or breasts a bit more to preserve her proportions...HOWEVER, this is assuming that all asari conform to a stereotype (which they don't, look at Aethyta). Β Your "Commando 3" manages to balance both power and sensuality, I feel.
Personally, this is the vision of an asari commando, IMO, and immaculately done. Β Amazing to consider you call this a "quick doodle!"

Like Knight-Commander12 says, if she's a bonafide commando, then she'll be tough and strong... Β female MMA fighters aren't dainty in any respect.

A commando is soldier and what do soldier do? They lift guns. Are guns heavy? Yes. Do you need strong arms to lift heavy things? Yes. Are strong arms big and bufff? Yes. Her arms are fine.Β
