Description Titania, who first debuted in the original Secret Wars maxi-series done by Marvel Comics done about a couple of decades ago, and last seen in Marvel's Fear Itself crossover that's just wrapping up. "Skeeter" McPherran was a scrawny civilian who was brought by the machinations of the Beyonder to his artificial planet, where she became part of Doctor Doom's plot to gaining more superpowered minions to aid in battling the various superheroes also stuck on the planet. Doom gave her various radiation treatments that added over 400 pounds of super-human muscle to her frame, along with incredible endurance and resistance to injury...

It's amazing that Titania has managed to stay part of the current Marvel storylines, considering that most readers barely remember The Beyonder and the Secret Wars series. Two of the major events due to the series was She-Hulk becoming a member of the Fantastic Four, as well as Spider-Man gaining what he thought was a new costume, but was really an alien symbiote that eventually became Venom...

Anyway, I actually drew this about three weeks ago, and inked it with a brush pen; but finally got around taking it into Illustrator and converting it to a vector piece. Yes, I used the dreaded Auto Trace tool-- I'm determined to figure out how to successfully use the damned thing, saving a lot of time and effort!

Her biggest claim to fame was during the Secret Wars, when she attacked a surprised She-Hulk and nearly beat her to death. Since then, the majority of her appearances was with Crusher Creel, better known as the Absorbing Man, who's her boyfriend. In this relationship, Crusher is the voice of reason, since Titania tends to act first without thinking, which is how most heroes defeat her. Along the way, she developed an unhealthy obsession involving She-Hulk-- since she nearly killed her the very first time they met, Titania wants to finish the job...

Which is exactly where I keep seeing her cropping up, in titanic battles with She-hulk that people here on deviantart draw.
It all makes sense now.

There's a great short story done for a comic called Avengers Spotlight, which ran in the early 90's drawn by Alan Davis involving She-Hulk (who's a lawyer by trade) presenting a case to the State Supreme Court, and she keeps getting interrupted by Titania causing trouble outside the courthouse. She has to excuse herself, change from her power suit into her action suit, punch out Titania with one blow, change clothes, and begin her case again-- and repeat the process over and over again. Eventually the justices get tired of this and go home, where a dejected Shulkie leaves the courthouse-- and promptly gets a sedan slammed over her head by Titania. After calmly reminding Titania that she's the cousin of the Hulk, who gets stronger as he gets angrier, an EXTREMELY angry She-Hulk beats the crap of of Titania, who's begging mercy like a bully who's finally taken down by one of his victims... that's my favorite She-Hulk/Titania battle-- and it's only 10 pages long!
