Kami left Akito in Morpheus' arms, exhausted by his journey, to wash herself. The fresh water completes her waking and a smile on her lips, she gets ready to open the door of their little room. The desire to return to the arms of his love after so much time spent away from him is too tempting.
She kneels at the entrance, but suspends her hand in silence: inside, a noise makes her frown. She would almost believe that a huge wild beast is stirring, cracking the walls of their modest home.
"Akito?"
Her voice trembles, but worried that her husband is in danger, Kami finally slides the door. Inside, a dark mass moved into disturbing waves. The young woman’s breath freezes in her throat, it is not just a mere wild beast lurking in their room: it is a gigantic creature!
Two eyes shine in the darkness, staring at Kami, who howls in terror, closing the door sharply. She realizes that this one will certainly not retain a creature of this size! Petrified, she can’t move from this door, waiting for her death. In her mind, a question breaks its way: did this terrible creature kill her husband? A painful feeling in the back of her neck raises. No… Not that!
Kami wrinkles her forehead, holding a sob, surprised not to have been devoured yet. The immense thing that has been lurking in their room does not seem determined to get out. Kami opens the door fearfully… A powerful warm breath from the small room welcomes her shy return. And at the light of dawn that illuminates the main room, a huge snout comes out slowly from the half-shadow of the room. Kami frowns incredulously, discovering the long whiskers that adorn this snout… It is impossible!
She opens larger and the head of her surprising intruder appears entirely in the light. Two long horns crown his head.
"A d-dragon?! B-but ... AKITO!!! Akito, can you hear me?"
No response comes from the half-light of the room, but the dragon is slowly coming out of all its length, mythical lizard of several meters. With her lips half open, Kami watches him do it, careful, trying not to break anything and especially not the young woman. She is beginning to have a doubt as tetanising as incredible. Yet...
Their room is empty: no husband, no sign of struggle. The pretty maid looks at the dragon over her shoulder, who observes her in silence, with his black eyes so sweet. Eyes she knows well.
- A…Akito?
The huge snout comes to fall against her bust, wrapping around Kami’s small body that melts in tears, the heart broken.
"You have no right to do this to me!"
Shocked, the young woman buried her hands and face in the fur that decorates the head of the sublime creature. The voice broken by the sobs, she whispers near her ear:
- be a simple carp again… I beg you…

Her prayer dies in the silence of the household.
