I have always gotten crap for what I like to do.
For most of my hobbies, certain people could consider it "only something a gay person would do". People always ask what I like to do and when I tell them, their response is always "ohh...". It hurts, and people don't know what it's like.
Hockey: I just love the sport. It is unique and not many girls play it. That doesn't make me bisexual or a lesbian.
Fursuits: I only make them because I love making things and it helps me deal with my anxiety. The small 10% or less of the fandom is what makes us all look bad.
How I dress: Nobody ever notices when I wear nice clothes and makeup. Why should I sacrifice my comfort when no one notices? Just because I wear shorts and t-shirts does not mean I'm a lesbian.
