It's actually a relief. Machines are getting too much support these days.

Before, Machines were utterly weak. I guess over the years, they became more realistic in terms of power...

Yes. It's like everyone is like, "I need 3 Cyber Dragons, although they don't fit with my deck theme!!"

Luigi-Master In reply to ShadowKyogre [2007-08-31 14:37:02 +0000 UTC]

I'm guessing the Cyber Dragons are the monsters with 2100 ATK and 1000 DEF (give or take), and how strong is the fused version/what's so special about them/what effects do they have?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-08-31 14:41:29 +0000 UTC]

You can special summon them when your opponent has at least a monster and you have none. Chimeratech gets 800 for every fusion material and can attack that many times, Cyber End has Fairy Meteor Crush, and Cyber Twin can attack twice... with 2800!!

Oh. And people buy these cards for like 100$ each?

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-08-31 14:49:05 +0000 UTC]

Of course they do. I also used to have a Cyber Dragon myself.

Cybernetic Revolution, except Chimeratech, which is in Power of the Duelist.

Fun thing is, Cyber Dragon is a staple card because it can be special summoned if the opponent has a monster and you do not, that's why people use it, i use it in a Cyber Dragon themed deck though

ShadowKyogre In reply to Ithcigo [2007-10-19 19:45:35 +0000 UTC]

I know that's why people use it. I used to have one, but I traded it for Horus LV 8.

Oy. Most of my cards (infact my favorite, Tyrant Dragon) come from Labyrinth of Darkness.

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-08-31 14:58:00 +0000 UTC]

My favorite card would have to be The Wicked Avatar.

Luigi-Master In reply to ShadowKyogre [2007-08-31 15:12:34 +0000 UTC]

I think I've heard of it...whas it do?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-08-31 15:17:24 +0000 UTC]

It's ALWAYS stronger than the strongest monster on the field besides itself by 100. Also, when summoned, your opponent can't activate Spells or Traps for two turns. You can't Special Summon it though.

Luigi-Master In reply to ShadowKyogre [2007-08-31 20:44:40 +0000 UTC]

So you're saying that, this card is stronger than BEWD (or anyone else) by 100 pts? Pretty cool! What happens if say, I first had La Jinn (who wasn't destroyed), and sacrificed him to bring Judge Man, would Avatar still be 1900 or would he be 2300?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-09-01 04:46:49 +0000 UTC]

Avatar would instanteneously change to 2300. It'll always be 100 points stronger than the other strongest monster, even if you power it down.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Luigi-Master In reply to ShadowKyogre [2007-09-01 22:41:29 +0000 UTC]

Okay, what if I used Shadow Spell or any other power-down card on Avatar?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-09-02 00:57:45 +0000 UTC]

Nope. It'll just copy the strongest monster...again.

So, this card isn't tournament legal then, right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShadowKyogre In reply to Luigi-Master [2007-09-02 01:42:35 +0000 UTC]

Actually and unfortunately, it's legal and UNLIMITED.

It also seems that Wal-Mart doesn't have Shonen Jump and I dunno why.

I dunno either. The first Kirby games are black and white.
