Day 18 is Sick and Twisted! We have finally reached my absolute favourite instalment of the entire series, Mario Party 8! MP8 is the very first one I played at 5 or 6 years old, so my nostalgia overrules any opinion I have about anything else. I think I liked the style of MP8, as it was semi realistic compared to the others, I don’t think I realised it at the time, but I heard someone mention it a while ago and I didn’t even think about it until then XD I know some people say it wasn’t the best but like let me enjoy it okay it really peaked here.

Sick and Twisted was probably the one almost rare minigame I could play in party mode, so I got excited to play it. I’m either pretty good or lose immediately because I’m not good at the platforming, but I liked the theme and visuals for it.

I also went for a different art direction for this one, especially with the background, because of the semi realistic style. And this will continue over to the next Mario Party 8 minigames I draw. I do like how this came out, despite the platforms being a bit hit and miss, but yeah, long live MP8
