Alright, I knew this would happen someday...Zootropolis (or Zootopia, like most people call it) has had me hooked for quite a while now. And because of that, I've have a lot of drawing ideas, rough sketches and stuff, and I haven't drawn Mario characters for quite a while in a row. I needed to submit a drawing of my two favourite characters to show I still love them both. But I couldn't think of anything original. I kept browsing Zootropolis things and came across a comic book cover of them tangled up in vines. I was highly inspired and I switched the characters around. This is my overall result!
Another excuse I have is because I want to express my shading a little more, to make it more realistic, and I'm pretty proud of it. Well, I needed to colour (and draw) it upside down so it would be easier, because let's be honest, it would be pretty hard to draw something the other way round.
...because then I drew the background upside down, but I fixed that.
