Like your idea. Whoever is the Grass Starter of Gen VIII, it’s Fully Evolved form should be a fighter in the 6th Smash Bros. game. Either that or the fully evolved Grass Starter of Gen IX anyway, whichever is the most recent gen at the time.

Dude! This is awesome! I love the fact that he is like a pepper~! =^.^= So unique. I will so be looking forward to the evolutions of this Pokemon~! =^.^= 
I saw the comment below about Snivy...I think Pokemon fans are the ones going down the tubes...not the creators. I personally like all the new starters AND their evolutions. Especially Snivy and Oshawott's. Snivy is my bias thought because it's a snake, and I guess Oshawott is too, since I like water starter! XP

Tepig is really cute! XP I didn't like the evolutions of him when I first saw them, but a second look made me fall in love with them.
I have Oshawott on my Black game and Snivy on my white game. XP I hope they come out with a 3rd one so I can get Tepig on that one!
I liked Tepig because at least now, Grumpig and Spoink aren't the only piggies.

cool. love how it looks almost like it's wearing a helmet, and the way the body comes off looking like a fruit with vines coming out of it is very fitting and a great touch. impressive starter
