Since its open for suggestions you could name it Galvanda (Galvan + Panda) Galvan is a word to measure electricity. Except it sort of sounds like Galvantula, so you could also do Energenda (Energy + Generator + Panda)
For the pokedex, maybe you could include that they are endangered (Like real giant pandas) due to being over-hunted for their energy
