Description
My first of the year and of the decade! yay!
I wanted to finish 2019 with these but the rush made it kinda messy, so i took my time and fixed them how i could to start 2020 in a good way

These fellas are based on Zhulong , Shooting Stars and my personal need for a cat dragon pokémon ^^ The 3 lines on their foreheads are inspired by my own cat

Also i'm debuting one of the three fake types i'll be using; The Star Type, info on the footnotes

KIMET (kitty - comet)
Type : Star/Dragon
Weight : 1kg
Length : 30cm
Ability : Comfort Its calming purr makes all the party members imune to confusion
Description : KIMET are said to arrive on earth from shooting stars, which folklore claimed were their eggs. It has a very energetic nature and can be tough as a pet, but that didn't hinder humankind from trying to domesticate them for their cuteness. The scales located in their back and tail can glow in the dark involuntarily if exposed to the sun for long enough during the day, but it also does so if this pokemon gets any rush of strong
emotion, specially during battles.

- KIMET evolves into OCELITE during nightime after lvl 40 -

OCELITE (ocelot - alight - satellite)
Type : Star/Dragon
Weight : 50kg
Length : 3m
Ability : Comfort Its calming purr makes all the party members imune to confusion
Description : Grown up OCELITEs are more calm and reserved than when they were KIMETS, however they still get very excited in battles or when they are asked to help out, which they love to do. Their whiskers accumulate light as energy and are very sensitive, so if they stay in the sunlight for too long they might sneeze and release an ionizing blast unintentionally.

- OCELLITE evolves into BLAZAGARD during nightime after lvl 80 -

BLAZAGARD (blazing/ blasar - jaguar - lizard)
Type : Star/Dragon
Weight : 200kg
Length : 8m
Ability : Wonder Cat Its loud purring makes all status changing moves inflicted on any party members only last for one turn
Description :Their eyes are very bright and can offuscate. It stays long periods of time just stargazing, as if they remember their place of origin deep in space and are nostalgic for it. The Northern and Southern extremes of the globe during the winter, when they face a 6 month straight nightime, are popular places for the BLAZAGARDs, that can be seen along the coast in numbers reaching the 1000s. This pokemon is surrounded by mystery and folklore; One particular city is said to have had a BLAZAGARD working the role of a lighthouse, so it's still very common for sailors originated from that city to wear pendants in the shape of this pokemon, for guidance.

The Star Type is basically the very popular "Light" type but with a twist. Gamefreak's response to it was of course the Fairy type, but Fairies are more alligned to the figurative concept of light: holyness, connection to nature, purity and all that, than they are of physical, radiant light, so that's what i'm doing. Star also compensates for 2 more popular fan made types: Cosmic and Nuclear, since they are basically permanent atomic explosions in space, and come in various forms and types from brown dwarves to black holes.

So yeah, you get a "radioactive alien" type. it sounds like a lot of room for lovecraftian beings to me

Star is strong against Dark since they're literal light, Normal since radiation can cause mutations on regular animals and humans, and Ground because it creates deserts + desert cultures are most of the time Sun worshippers

It is week against Grass, which absorbs light through photosynthesis, and Ice (because it needs something to be weak against it) because of refraction

with my exclusion of the Bug Type, i guess things are more balanced to the Grass type ^^
