Hello everybody ^^

I know the lighting here isn't optimal and a professional artist wouldn't do it, but that's how i want them for the context.

This idea was on my mind for a while, and it is a little different from the others because it is not based on anything from the real world or fiction, it is actually based on me! haha

Lemme explain that: When i was a child i had some experiences with Night Terror and Sleep Paralysis, and i used to see all sorts of twisted monsters. In time i grew apathic to them and the events stopped, but i still remember some of them very well, and since i like to make darker designs like Morpendio; the Hanging Tree, i decided to make some of my personal shadow people into pokémon

The three i chose, as the alternate forms for the final evolution of this line are based on the three that i remember the most: the first was like a very big human/oni face starring at me from the ceilling, it used to go down and pull my bed up thowards it. the second was like a very very very long snake/tapeworm that used to just float straight to the wall, disappear into it, then reappear in another spot of the wall, or in the opposite wall, like the scooby doo doors and keep doing that forever, (maybe i had seen beetlejuice back then and my subconscious remembered that) and the third was a kind of cicada that used to lay in my stomach and use it's syphon to drink something out of me, maybe my soul idk hahaha, and it was very heavy.

Yes they would be related to mimikyu, like a distant cousin species, but they also share something with Yamask and Shedinja. and yes, they look a lot like Kingdom Heart's heartless

but anyway, enough context, here's their description :

FARHAGIL (faragh [Arb.: void] - Hades - vigil*)
Type : Dark
Weight : none
Length : big variation
Ability : none
Description : No one is exactly sure where did the FARAGHIL come from or what they are. All that is known is that they like to appear in dark places and stay there for long periods of time just watching whatever happens. They seem to like the presence of humans, as under their beds is one of their favorite spots to be. They usually aren't hostile and the fissures created by their presence are restored as soon as they move on. Commonly they are the size of a notebook, but the biggest FARAGHIL ever seen spanned for miles, and was located in the dark valley between two mountains. It is said that whoever looks too close into the FARAGHIL's gloom will never be the same again

- FARAGHIL evolves (?) into NEPHIALTES after lvl 20 while the player is asleep -

NEPHIALTES (Nephilim* - ephialtes)
Type : Dark/Psychic
Weight : none
Length : 60cm (hidden and syphon), 100m (wandering)
Ability : Intruder replaces 1 party member of the foe for FARAGHIL. these can't be sent into battle, and will evaporate away as soon as the current fight finishes, returning the original pokémon to its spot. Doesn't work for Wild Battles.
Description : We stilll aren't 100% sure if NEPHIALTES is truly the evolved form of FARAGHIL or if this pokémon is actually a separate entitty that comes from within the FARAGHIL's dark depths, but whenever a NEPHIALTES appears, the FARAGHIL that once was there can no longer be found. It is exponentially more aggressive than the smaller pokémon, as it feeds on human and pokémon dreams like other species such as HYPNO and DARKRAI. It has 3 forms, from which it can change into without effort. Syphon form is used for when they are attacking or feeding on their preys while laying on their stomach, Wandering form is used when it is moving or evading attacks, and the Hidden form is used for defense and also feeding. Its victims cannot wake up until it is done eating.

like Magykarp, Faraghil has only Tackle and its own useless move : Look. So you'd have to bring it to daycare or whatever else to evolve it to lvl 20. Its motion works like digglett, except it can also appear on vertical surfaces and in the ceilling

* about some of the words i used to compose their names
-Vigil is the place between asleep and awake
-Nephilim are the giants from before the flood in the bible, that conspiracy theorists say linger on earth in the form of the shadows we see on sleep deprived hallucinations
-Ephialtes means "nightmare" in greek, and is the name of that heavy feeling on the stomach while asleep, religiously related to Inccubus and Succubus; sexual assaulting demons
