Vampires don't sparkle. They. JUST. DON'T!Now if you would excuse me...
*goes back to beating the shit out of Edward Cullen*
P.S. I was originally gonna beat Edward with Bram Stroker's Dracula, but I thought it over and went fuck it. That douche doesn't deserve to get bludgeoned with one of the greatest vampire stories ever told. Plus, it would be more insult to injury if I used the Twilight book instead (:<

Exactly! Hell, I solidly believe that Edward is a fairy in disguise cuz' last time I checked the only 'monsters/mythical' creatures/beings that sparkle are fairies.

But bedtime is funtime...wait...that doesn't sound right.
Anyway, I like to sleep, probably cuz' I'm not a morning person. Though I got to get to bed as well. I've got a morning class at 8:40AM, but since the place I'm staying at the moment is like an hour away I have to get up earlier. What's worse is that the class is Art History, one of the most boring classes I have so far taken in college. At least the teacher is awesome.

Well, I'm not a morning person either, but I don't like going to sleep early. My ideal night is 12:00 midnight, to 12:00 noon. That's what it was like before school started. And now, because of lack of sleep, I'm afraid to fall asleep in class. I have to take a gym class right before my super advanced math class, and lunch-break is halfway through. They purposefuly make us schedules that will ruin our lives! I'm never going to pass the class if my eyes don't stop drooping.

I'm kind of like that, but with me the earlier I go to be the longer I can sleep. Though When school started to get close I began to go to sleep at like ten and waking up at about 8 to 9 to readjust my biological clock. You should probably do that next time, that way you don't have to worry about falling asleep in class. Though on a lighter note, in college you can choose what time to attend classes. But the earlier you do it the better. If you take your time you'll have less of a chance to get the classes you want at the times you want them. I learned that the hard way when I signed up my first semester.

I tryed. When I was little, I was kind of nocturnal, and it's like my body wishes I still was. I just can't sleep before a certain time, no matter how long or early I'm in bed. Plus, my gym teacher is also the coach of practicaly every sport girls can play and makes us do crossfit routines, so she isn't satisfied until we're all panting and complaining.
I can't wait for college!

Well it looks like you're eager to go to college. Then let me tell you, college is hard, but its not as big and bad as some make it out to be. As long as you attend all your classes, pay attention and do your schoolwork on time you'll be just fine.

I'm not sure. I'm kind of planning on med school, and I'm thinking something in Phschology or Psychiatry.

Lukan-the-Oracle In reply to rachelthepessimist [2012-09-15 16:55:33 +0000 UTC]
I see, but if you plan to go to med school you better be able to handle real 'blood and guts.' I had originally planned to become a vet at a young age and it wasn't till middle school that one of my teachers (an art teacher at that) suggested that I go to an art college, but I had my heart set being a vet even though I love art.
Though that plan got thrown out the window in high school when I had to dissect a frog. I couldn't do it without being physically ill and feeling that I would hurl, and that was when the frog was dead and drained of such fluids like blood. If I couldn't handle cutting open a dead animal, then there's no way that I could handle operating on a living animal.
So I moved on to plane B and decided to major in art.
So like I said, if you don't think that you can handle real 'blood and guts' then med school might not be a good choice. Phschology or Psychiatry might be a better bet for you.
Though I highly suggest that you research all your option and ask yourself, 'can I see myself doing this job and enjoying it?' Yet if that doesn't help then try taking a placement test (which you can find online) to see what you're suited for. I took one once and all of the job it listed that would be a good match for me were jobs that had to do with art like Graphic Designer, Art Teacher, Art Therapist and etc.

I loved disecting my frog. We did it way back in seventh grade, and are suppossed to disect wierder stuff in High-School! I couldn't stop pulling on stuff to see how it was connected!
Besides, Psychiatry requires an MD, Psychology doesn't. Depending on which route I take, I wont even NEED Med School.
I hgave taken several such tests and they all suggest various therapist, conselour, and pschiatric jobs. Except for one, the one they made us take before high school to help us pick an academy to take, it told me to be a martial arts instructor. That one was confusing.

Well then never mind, you have stronger nerves than me. I can't handle such things like dissections. Which is a little odd since I'm such a horror movie/story fan. I guess I'm used to fake 'blood and guts', but not the real deal. Oh well.
I see, I've started to be interested about being an Art Therapist. I've always found Psychology to be fascinating. I plan to take a Psychology class and see it I like it. If I do then I might aim for becoming an Art Therapist, but for now I'll stick with my Graphic Visual Art major.
Oh okay, never mind then. I thought that it would help.

I hate horror, I always overanalyze/overthink it and make it worse in my own head. Whereaas, in real life there's a limit to how bad it can get.
I love the idea of pschology! There's so many different kinds! What's an art therapist though? Like, the ones who teach art at institutions and stuff.

But I just love horror. The more scary and 'mind-fuckery' it is the better. Though there are some horror movies that I find funny, like the crappy ones...among others.
Same here, the field is so interesting. As for an art therapist, well an art therapist is mostly used for patients that have a hard time communicating with others. Art therapists have their patients do artwork and then they study the artwork and use it to figure out how their patients feel and/or what they're thinking. An art therapist needs at least a Bachelors in both art and psychology.

No, I hate-hate-hate horror, with a burning passion. The closest I've ever come was 'gremlins', and that was hysterical, and 'Interview with a vampire', but it was on tv so I bet it was watered down.
And that sounds so cool! We had to do an art project one time where you were given a ton of different colors and tools, and you just had to hash it out on the paper, I was in a really bad mood right then, and it showed, it was all red and beaten.

Really? Well to each their own. Though my mom is kind of like that. Whenever I'm watching something scare my mom tells me to 'turn off that scary shit', but in the end she ends up watching it with me. I think its like a train wreck for her, too horrid to see but so hard to look away.
I guess so, it's something to look in to. I see, I'm like that way too sometimes. Art is a good outlet for me. Hell, I sometimes make the best pieces of art when I don't really think about what I'm doing and just go with the flow. Did you post that piece of art here on dA?

No, I actualy don't know what happened to it, it was years ago... I'll dig around for it. However, if you go all psycho-babble on me and start analyzing it, well, I'd actualy be okay with that.

Yes, I've 'Schindler's List' and wasn't that scary...at least not to me. Probably cuz' I was made to read so many books in English that were about WW2 and the Holocaust. Though there is a movie more scary then 'Schindler's List' is the 'Passion of the Christ.' My mom forced me to watch that after it came to theaters and scared me so bad that I would not go to church for 3 weeks.
An old piece of work then? Makes sense that you would have a bit of a hard time finding it. Though...whether or not I go all 'psycho-babble' on you is up for debate. I have yet to take a single psychology class (either in high school or college). The only bit that I psychology that I know is from the 'Criminal Minds' series and the essay that I did on mental illnesses. But I can break it down artist wise.

Not scary, but disturbing. It wasn't the normal sense of "scary", but like I said, true horror. Dehuminization at it's greatest, with human nature at it's worst. They showed Passion of the Christ AT my church, my mom wouldn't let me go.
It's from almost a decade ago. And believe me, I could go psycho-babble on things without any psychology classess. Though it would probably be pretty far-fetched.

That old huh? I have artwork that old and older cuz' my mom saves about every piece of art I've ever made. Though whatever 'psycho-babble' you do probably will be far-fetched, as would my 'psycho-babble' will must likely be.
