A mix of matte painting and normal painting.Was working on this all day long and I'm pretty satisfied wth the result.

This is a very good work! I a actually starting take in consideration start to do landsapes in digital art but I can't visualize in my head the process. Advices?

Start out with painting landscapes from life and from reference.
A really good video tutorial that I can recommend is from Shaddy Safadi.
Just search on YouTube for him and you'll find them.
Also try to keep a sketchbook with you everyday so you can nail down some ideas whenever you have anything in mind.
