This is very pretty and certainly stormy. It could be a skyscape, seascape, or snowscape. The way it is swirled is slightly disorienting (in a good way), as if it looks that way because of my perceptions and not in reality. I think I see it mostly as a skyscape and seascape, with the horizon in there somewhere; but in which case it feels upside-down, as I'd expect the purples to be stormclouds and the blues to be the sea.
I feel like most of the "motion" in this is from left to right. The blotchy/swirly part just to the right of center at the bottom feels slightly problematic as it seems almost stagnant. Though if I looked at the whole thing as rock formations with a river running through the middle, it makes sense for there to be some stagnant pools caught by the rock.
Of course, I don't need to see it "as" anything; one of the things that I actually really like about this is that there are not a whole lot of shapes hidden in the swirls. I see no human figures, no animals, no brains or organs. The swirls are truly abstract and only look like things are themselves abstract and swirly.
