Pepper is a sweet young lady who grew up alone in the streets of Kenabres. Though her demonic heritage often gave her violent urges, Pepper lived her life as honestly and peacefully as she could.

Not long after her twentieth birthday, Pepper's town was violently attacked by an incursion of demons from a rift in the Worldwound. Putting her own life at risk, the tiefling took up bow and arrow, doing what she could to protect her neighbors.

After the demonic invasion was driven back, Pepper was visited by the Goddess of Hope and Redemption, who praised and encouraged Pepper, offering her a place as one of the Goddess' paladins in the Order of Black Feathers.

Deeply touched that such a kind deity would even notice, let alone care for her, Pepper happily accepted.

Pepper has since become very close to the risen cambion Baz , whom she considers her boyfriend.
