BUBBLE TROUBLE - "HOIST BY MY OWN PETARD"Triptych

NOTES: "Bubble Trouble" was created for the "I Am 8-Bit v.2" show, hosted by Gallery 1988. The 8-Bit shows featured artwork inspired by videogames, and videogame culture. I chose to employ the Taito classic, "Bubble Bobble", as my subject matter.
"Bubble Trouble" is actually a triptych, and was created over 3 circular canvas'.
A 10" canvas for the lizard, and 12" canvas for the skeleton, and a 5" canvas for effect.
After painting and varnishing each canvas, I drilled and screwed the canvas' together into the finished configuration.
