Description In a Woolworths shop (yes i take my camera everywhere ) i saw these two walls painted in the exit sign green lines. I took a few shots before the staff started looking at me suspiciously. I think people are intimidated by cameras

Hehe, every time I go to a Woolworths I am disappointed that there are no walls like this.

Damn you Sydney!

haha that's a terrible shame. I think this is the only Woollies i know of that has a wall like this. I haven't really checked the other ones i've been to, but it would be hard to miss a wall like this

Again, delicious green. i could stay in your gallery all day. i love to start at the beginning of someone's gallery and go through each deviation one by one to see how they've developed their style.

i know you probably have a million watchers, so you won't mind if i add myself to the list?

beautiful works. i look forward to seeing more.

i don't know about a million watchers... i think it's about 500 hehe But i'm glad you like my work! I also like looking through peoples entire gallery. It's interesting to see how being have progressed and developed. Especially more popular deviants - you can go back to the start of their gallerys and see the things that only got a couple of comments or favourites and realise that everyone has to start somewhere

Heheh, I get strange stares from people to when I take my pictures. Like the time I was standing in the middle of a parking lot, taking a picture of a huge pile of snow. >_>

Anyway, I really like it!

In Woolies?! That's rather bizarre. I was imagining car park or something equally obvious when I clicked on it it... but I wasn't expecting that! You have such a good eye for line and colour.

hahah i think people always look suspiciously at photographers. And one taking pics of the wall is very suspicious lol

nice abstract composition - stripes can be interesting!

I love this photograph... it's great how there's this really strong pattern, that's suddenly interupted and bent. It's also looks kind of 2 dimensional, which really adds to it I think. Very succesful composition and the green looks terrific

heheh yeah, once i was taking a photo of this blue and yellow building and the owner came up and was like "uhh..what are you doing?" and i said "i just liked the colours... the blue and yellow... i'm a photographer... heh.." then he just looked at me like i was insane and said "..alright..." and walked off

Simple, yet very bold. I love the green and white, though the area where the walls meet slightly messes with my eyes. *blink* But in a good way, of course.

Amazing what you can find when you take your camera everywhere!

"I think people are intimidated by cameras" I toatally agree with that... people always look at me strange.. mind you that might not be cos of the camera.. lol

I like the simplicity.. (id love to look a it full view but devart wont let me) The white on green look supurb, an the angle its good.

holy pattern batman. yeah people are afraid of cameras especially girls i used to have great fun in colledge taking out the my camera and watching how girls are repeled away from it , thell dive under tables to avoid having there picture taken!

lol yes it's always fun seeing how people react I didn't use to like getting my photo taken but now that i take photos myself i don't really care. Maybe the more you know about cameras and photography... the less you care about getting your photo taken? Or maybe i've just grown up

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Yohan-2014 In reply to lukeroberts [2005-01-06 01:33:38 +0000 UTC]

most people are not aware what they look like , when they look in the mirror they pull the face they want to remember themselves as , so when they see a photo they realize they dont look like like what they would like to think, so they avoid having there photo taken so that they dont have the see the real them and can keep their imaginary perception of themselves.theres nothing wrong with that i suppose if it makes people more confident. its even funnier when they see themselves on video!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh is that what i 'really' look like! yes yes it is

Very nice composition. I like the way the white lines stand out against the deep green background and, particularly, how they fold at an angle. This really gives the image an additional appeal. Good job.

There was an exit sign just out of shot in this photo which i did include in another version of this shot. I thought it would add a bit of interest and a focal point but the lighting on it was terrible and it looked so plastic and cheap. I thought i'd stick to the abstract lines I'm glad you can appreciate it

lukeroberts In reply to babybluespikes [2005-01-06 01:22:57 +0000 UTC]

Yes, people are just jealous of our cameras I think when you take a camera into a store they think you're trying to catch them doing something wrong or are stealing ideas or something. Once i got told i wasn't allowed to take photos in one store. But, oh well - thanks for the feedback I was happy with the green came out
