Yoshino "Haru" Harusawa from Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Part 4/12 of my SMT tribute project.

Hehe, some of you might even know this SMT title, as it's a relatively new one. Though it is one of those which kept a pretty low profile due to some "controversy", you see, the story of this game is about people trapped in an enclosed area, which is a nice set for a more deep story as is, you know the "how people act when trapped and with supplies running out" one XD, an area where demons start to appear and murder people, yet rest assured, as the ever so wonderful catholic church has arrived to save your life... or is it... the truth is, the church were the ones who summoned the demons in the first place, so when demons would start their murderous rampage, the church would then step up and "save" people from the demon onslaught, all the while claiming the demons were summoned by humanity's corruption... such trustworthy fellows, aren't they... (of course, it was mildly "censored" calling them "a religion" instead of "church", etc. but it's still pretty evident)

Anyways, the Devil Survivor games are an NDS exclusive, and a great game at that. Of course, you do have means to summon and control demons, which is ironically a DS-looking portable comp, with various features complete wqith internet access and the funniest part is that the internet is your source of gaining new demons on your team How? Simple, you buy them on internet auctions... yes, you heard that right, you choose a demon you wish to buy and must bid your way to acquire it hell, later on you can even buy yourself a Golden Subscription to get bonus features (and yes, it is called a "Golden Subscription" |D).
Also, as a true SMT title, it wouldn't be complete without a deep, complex story, which due to the titles easy availability (even to emulate on a PC), I will not spoil cause I hope some of you will be tempted to try it out >D let me just tell you, this is a title you will most likely replay a few times >3 for one, it has multple, different endings, depending on your actions during the game, hell, most things in the game change based on your actions, and since the game is time-based, you will surely not uncover all of it's secrets in one go (needless to say, certain scenes happen at the same time, and you have to choose which one you'll follow).

Now about the character >3
I had a tough time deciding on just one chara, as many of them were great, however, Haru striked me as one of the most unique ones. She's a singer from the band called D-Va, refusing to abandon her passion because of the lockdown on the area and lack of electricity, she's also quite a hottie, too bad she's only an NPC >>" and worth mentioning is the fact she's the only person who's able to summon demons without the mentioned DS-ish comp, yet I will not spoil how does she do it (but no, she is not really any evil mastermind with dark powers, let's just say, even she herself isn't aware why does it happen >3).
Hehe, she also has a rather interesting persona, most of the time you're unsure whether she's just carefree and relaxed or downright deeply depressed and "whatever'ish", many times bordering on profound morosity and a deathwish...she is indeed an interesting person >3

Also, there's a lil' recurring joke regarding her, hehe, you see Haru isn't exactly too busty, and the shoulder straps of her dress keep falling off a little to frequently, many times almost uncovering her chest >3 hehe, just look here - images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__c…
