Ark from Final Fantasy IX

This is part 9/11 of my little Final Fantasy tribute project. For those who still don't know FF has it's 25th anniversary this year ;3

For those of you who have no idea who this guy is. Ark is the final, strongest summon (eidolon) from FFIX, and one badass mecha to boot.
And actually, not just a normal mecha, but more of a transformer. You first encounter him in Oeilvert in his flying ship form, but you can obtain him later in the game (either from Ozma, or by fusing the Pumice Pieces together at Hades's synth shop). And as usual with the final summons, his animation goes for around 2 minutes |D

Heh, I have to admit, I had a really hard time deciding which FFIX chara to draw, since it had so many memorable charas, but in the end, I chose this guy, mainly because he's pure badass, and second, because most other charas have tons of fanart yet this guy's in the more obscure zone, and I think he well damn deserves some attention.

And speaking iof hard time, damn, was this guy hard to draw... for one, just look at him, do you see how detailed the design is? And to make it even worse, Square didn't bother to make some quality arts with him, so I had to use screenshots and a Youtube movie all the while hoping I'll get all the details right somehow.... geez, just take a look yourselves at what I had to work with - youtu.be/dys7ymUDov8 images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__c… www.finalfantasykingdom.net/9/…
heh, but I think it payed off in the end... I really love how he came out ^^ hope you guys will like him as well |D
