Description
Havik from the Mortal Kombat series.Drawn for yet another tribute project >3 this time an MK one.
So here's Havik, one of the newcomers from MK: Deception, in his standard outfit, and pretty much the only good one to have his debut there (okay, Kira was good as well, nothing special, just "good").
While some new charas were either completely boring or completely out of place (*cough*Hotaru*cough*Kobra*cough*), Havik was actually very original (especially his half-torn face, and his fighting stance was awesome), and fit the series really nicely. And considering that his home realm is the Realm of Chaos, it was all the more fun to draw him, hehe, anyways, enjoy >3

Havik surely have his weird ways of being himself, but who can blame him for living in a realm where people get glad you punch their faces, heahaeh.

He certainly was one of the most original characters to appear in the later games >3

Yeah hotaru and kobra were lame. But kobra's moves were ok. Sme may say darrius' move were stupid as well as his kostume.

The biggest flaw of the Deception newcomers was that they were way too out of place, and didn't fit the MK series at all. More so since Kobra and Darrius were just cheap knock-offs of Ken Masters and Morpheus respectively.

You have two choices, stranger: State your intentions, or hear the shattering of your spine. All hail Havik, Cleric of Chaos

indeed he was, he was my sub main after Zombie Liu-Kang. I also hope he'll come back, after all he was shown in Noob Saibots ending and MK9's storymode did hint at a possible sequel

Well, he was my main in Deception, but in Armageddon I mostly played as my crested chara

lol don't even get me started with Armageddon, I tore everyone to shreds with Zombie Bruce Lee, I worked very hard on how he looked and how moveset would work; fighting style and weapon style, he was VERY combo orientated, I guess you could I took the dial-a-kombo to the next level

Well, I was pretty proud of my Black Dragon chara myself >D (more so since I've made myself as that Black Dragon member XD), too bad Armageddon doesn't feature online play, so we could try them out against eachother >D

armageddon Did feature online on the wii, but it was weird to play. online was also featured on the PS2 version...but that shit was straight up awkward.
but yeah it woulda been so cool to try pit our characters against each other; dude I spent 4+ hours on my character

Then play MK Armageddon, it was mediocre at best, but at least it was far better than Deception. Or watch some Youtube vids, I'm sure there are some with him
Hehe, I just hope Netherrealm will do some kind of sequel to MK9 (well, the end of the story mode sure hints so...), so we'll get to see him in a quality game >D
And thanks, glad you like the style >3

Really? I'll look it up. Deadly Alliance killed the series for me and Deception buried it. The newest game was awesome and yes, Shinok at the end...helluva cliff hanger XD

And I wouldn't say Shinnok's appearance at the end was a "cliffhanger", more of a "stay tuned" message, kinda like the latest Marvel movies (Cap. America, Hulk, etc.) all hinting towards The Avengers |D

Well, I'd say DA was actually a very good game, it did have it's share of mistakes, but wasn't anything close to MK4's crappiness, just be warned that MK Armageddon has a much greater share of mistakes than DA though, the fighting system was simplified, some of the returning characters received a ridiculously bad redesign (most notably Motaro, who lost 2 out of his 4 legs...), and the story behind it is pretty laughable, but one might find it amusing for a little while, just don't expect anything as awesome as in MK9, it's a completely different level |D
