Description
Slaking from the Pokemon series.
Drawn for the Pokemon Tribute Project ~Gen.III at Game-Art-HQ
As usual, I want to thank for doing the cutout.
Here it is, my final submission for the Gen. 3 project (cause I used al the slots-per-artist). This mountain of muscle is often overlooked due to it's pretty plain design and of course, crippling ability. But plain as crippled as it may be, damn, just look at those stats... Slaking actually has a whopping 670 base stat, with a 160 physical attack, so it actually outclasses not only every single normal pokemon, but most of the legendaries as well. Sure, again, it's ability makes it possible to attack only every other turn, while it slacks off in between attacks, but when it does attack, it friggin does not let you live it down.
And on that note, it IS possible to get that nasty ability out of the way and replace it with something more useful (mostly during Double fights, and I use a Gardevoir for that)
As for the attack, Low Sweep might not be the most spectacular attack, but much like Slaking's design, while plain, it's effective. It might be a simple sweep, but it's a sweep that can literally topple mountains. And yes, LITERALLY, since this attack is Fighting type and does damage based on the opponents weight, and almost all mountain-sized pokes like Tyranitar, Rhydon or Regirock (and for that matter, fellow Normal types Snorlax and Regigigas) are Rock types, so it's not only super effective but the damage skyrockets due to their colossal weight.

It looks absolutely ferocious here! I guess all that saved up energy while slacking has to go somewhere huh?

Thanks ^^
And yeah, I always kinda imagined it switching between ferocious and bored between turns, furiously pounding the opponent one second only to sit down and yawn the next XD

Must be confusing to watch that in real life.
No problem!

Almost as confusing as a Pikachu merely fainting after suffering an Earthquake, or being unable to bypass a really thin tree XD

Oh no, I meant watching someone quiet suddenly punch someone in the face, then go calm and quiet again right after.

In real life that's what you'd call "bipolar disorder" XD
But yes, I do get what you mean ;3

LOL Again, I saw a different character here; I thought this was Sully from Monsters, Inc.!

That's quite a random thought XD
Then again, I really love randomness XD
Thank you ;3
