Megaman X from the Megaman X series.Part 1/12 of my MMX tribute project.
Well, it's only obvious for an MMX project to start with the very protagonist of the series, is it not? >3
To tell you the truth I was really hesitant about this, with the pretty detailed MMX designs and all, I know I asked people for opinion on the projects, so I pretty much got myself into this, but still |3
Though seeing this finished, well, I hope I can keep up the pace so that these won't slow me down, also, I'm really looking forward to draw the rest now that the first one's down |3
Anyways, as you might have noticed, I drew X in his Command Mission version, mainly because it looks far better than the regular X, plus, I just love the plasma scarf he's got in there, it's just so damn badass >D
And I really liked how the scarf came out too, hope it looks good here as it does in the game >3
Also, the pose, it's actually taken from X's jumping animation from X5/6, I just really liked that one ^^
Anyways, enjoy, hope you like this one, cause there's 11 more to come. And who will appear on those? You'll just have to wait and see for yourselves >3

Well, as memorable as it is, it's just to plain, so with the oversized limbs without any details it probably wouldn't look as good in my style, that, and it has so many fanarts already, the CM look needs some more love >3

Ahem, I do know my stuff when it comes to Megaman games, especially X and Classic, so yeah, I know what happened in each part |3
Heh, and you may wanna save the hype for individual parts when I actually post something from 'em (11 more to go, as in, at least one boss per game will be present), that, and I'll have you know that X6 is one of my favourite parts, and for a reason too, plus, the stages weren't "glitchy", merely "nightmare infested", meaning that a red covered boss icon had that stage infested with some nasty additional hazards.
And meh, while I agree Marino was cool, never cared for Layer much, too fanservicey and shallow. That, and Nana is the cutest MMX gal anyway >3

PS. Cyber Peacock NIE JEST programem hackującym, jest jednym z dowódców w Repliforce, a ze jego specjalnością jest kontrola cyberprzestrzeni, dostał więc zadanie adekwatne do zdolności, jak z resztą każdy z pozostałych dowódców Repliforce (+ Dragoon, który technicznie do Repliforce nie należał). Znalazł sie w cyberprzestrzeni dokładnie tak samo jak X.

Wikie są bardzo czesto dobrym xródłem informacji, chociaż im równiez zdarzają się mylne dane. Nawet w samej grze jest wzmianka, że C.Peacock jest agentem Repliforce, który za zadanie ma ojecie kontroli nad cyberprzestrzenią.

Nice. I thought it mighta been from the Zero series at first cause his face looked almost evil. (Don't hate me, I never actually finished Zero1 to see it I just know X is the villain after a lot of reading.)
All in all it's cool and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the projects, both to see if some of my favs get done by you and to see who the other 11 end up being. ^_^

And like Chipp said, the main antagonist in the Zero series is Copy X, as to why it's so evil looking, well, basically because my style makes stuff look evil XD

Mostly I said don't hate me cause as timid as I usually am, it gets doubled when talking about a persons art. And like I said I never finished Zero, I just remember reading that it was supposed to be X and then Capcom made it change for... I forget why... and personally I tend to look at cannon as "what the creator wanted" instead of whatever happened. I.e. in Chrono Cross how Guile was supposed to be Magus and then that got scrapped. But *shrugs* that's neither here nor there. Either way it's a cool picture and it reminds me I need to go back and re-finish Command Mission and I look forward to the rest. ^_^

More like "what the creator originally wanted", Inafune, like most VG creators does change his mind every now and then, like when he wanted the X series to end at X4, yet he did take part in the makin' of X5/6. And it was changed since new X games were being made, and they wanted X to stay as a positive character, plus, evil X, THE pacifistic and peaceful X, would really make no sense as an antagonist TBH. So yeah, I'm afraid Copy X is the canon one no matter how you look at it |3
Heh, you'd be surprised how many concepts were edited or scrapped when certain games were developed, if you thought Chrono Cross had some changes, you shuld read about the original concepts in FFIX |D

Like I said if it was a Capcom forced him to do it then I'd just take it as his original vision, it's just how I am. However it seems that he changed it because it was gonna be X to tie into X5 and then he put out X6 so he changed it so it would fit better with the X6 cannon. Some sources claim Capcom forced poor Inafune (though considering the sort of "trend" to picture Capcom as evil, greedy and forcing it's will on "poor" creators, I am exactly taking this as the most possible version), some sources claim Inafune merely changed his mind (and Inafune does that a lot), some sources claim it was the fans who didn't want X as a villain so it was changed before the game's release, and some sources claim it was meant to be like this and the whole "X as antagonist" is just a mere rumor.
So, how can you tell which version is true?
On a side note, the official wikia only states that the original X was meant to be the villain, but was changed to Copy X, because of how the MMX story developed. And NO mention of Capcom forcing anyone is to be found.
And I loved the red one, it contrasted with X's blue armor and looked the most badass, hell, the black one was cool, but even that was outclassed by the red one >3

The odd proportions, the details on the armor, the pose, all made it quite challenging, and the designs only get more difficult from here |3
