So, you apply the darks first, then the lights later to create that kind of blend-effect? Neat, Weasie does that sort of thing, too, and I happen to do it the other way

^___^ It's fine either way. Whichever ways works best for you, go with it. I find it difficult to go from light to dark, so I just go from dark to light.

I imagine it works fine either way, as long as you do the gradient with each color. I'm grateful you pointed it out. i used to apply too much pressure to my pencils and was surprised the next color wouldn't go over it. The surface was all waxy from stupid amounts of pencil pressure
