Description
horse stock Βi'd love to see what you guys make using this technique!
it can be used for any colors really!
for something like palomino for example you would change the hue to yellow, lower the saturation just a little, and maybe lighten it a bit. then i find you get best result by setting the layer mode to "lighten only" . then use color balance to adjust your colorsΒ

hahaha
well it really is only a few steps, and oce you get the feel for it it only takes a few minutes (this took me like Β 10 haha)
its only when you get into lighting that it gets harder

I have no idea why could changes never seem to work for me...
And lighting... I just suck at lighting... maybe if I could actually figure out where the light source was I'd be better off but I never am really sure >.<

for finding the lightsource just take a moment to examine your bg
look at where the shadows are falling, because the lightsource is almost always directly opposite your shadows, and aso where your highlights are is where the light is pointing at.
