So I've been meaning to go over color theory for a while, and after designing to new characters I was inspired to go through with it! quite happy with the end result, and I really hope this can help or teach you guys something about color theory!
these are really just the very basics but there is SO much more to it then this, but I think this is a very good starting point for artists and it was definitely the push to get me where I am now.
I also just wanted to point you guys to an excellent resource!

It is a great! site to help you pick color schemes and harmonies if you aren't comfortable doing so yourself! I still use it when I'm lost for ideas, and I really think it's an awesome resource!

The characters in this tutorial are my property and designs.
Cira is the yellow and orange one, and nahbhendu is the blue and gold one.
their names mean sun and moon respectively. (they are coatimundis!)
