Her hair is that of an evening sunsetHer skin is the palest color of sun
Her eyes are the teal of the ocean wet
The beauty in her is enough to stun
It seems to me if given the chance to
She'd fly away into the shining sky
To see all the sights and enjoy the view
To say I'd be happy would be a lie
But I'd have a memory, here on the ground
Of the sweetest shy girl I ever knew
Her face, her dreams, her laugh, my heart still pounds
For minutes we shared that were all too few
But love may be fleeting, this I have learned
Love while you can with a passion that burns

It's a beautiful poem. And it does fulfill the requirements of a Sonnet. I enjoyed it. keep writing. You have talent. And the only way one knows if they should keep writing... is to keep writing. I know.. Its a lot of self discipline. But you can do it. I know you can.
