He is a child from Lightning Dust and Rumble. Although both of his parents are in the wonderbolts now, he is more artsy than athletic. I guess you could describe him as 'hipster'. From a young age he loved reading and drawing. He spent most of his time by himself, but as he grew he developed a small group of friends and has had one special somepony so far, Diamond Shine. They were in a relationship during middle school, but they broke it off because things were getting too awkward. They remained friends but neither of them are dating anyone else or plan to. In the future they think they may get together, but they don't want to right now. They often do things together, however, like going to wonderbolt shows and seeing movies.

He lives in Canterlot but his parents aren't home much. They have a maid who takes care of him while his parents are on tour, but he goes to every local show. He loves to go see wonderbolt shows, but he doesn't have a talent for flying. Instead, he loves to paint! He's especially good at painting portraits, so he likes painting the scenes he sees at shows and selling them for a few bits. As he grows, he wants to be the official arts manager for the Wonderbolt museum.
His hobbies include reading old literature, watching old movies, drinking coffee, and playing card games.
